Hello everyone! My name is Marilyn and I am an artist out of Vaughan Ontario. I love to make digital and watercolour artwork ! I try to express my love of design, compelling narrative, and natural and magical motifs, in bright eye catching compositions.

Spending my youth in the Kawartha Lakes area I was always fascinated by the beauty of our natural world and the complexity of the environment around us. You could find me spending my time sketching flowers from the garden or animals at the Toronto Zoo. Growing up playing classic games and entertained by literary artists like Beatrix Potter and Ernest Howard Shepard, and the animation gurus at Disney and Ghibli studios; I was always inspired to capture the amazing experiences and adventures that were possible with one’s imagination.

After Graduating from York University, I continued to hone my skills in the Adobe Creative Suite programs and launched an e-commerce website for my work. I have enjoyed sharing my art with others by teaching the visual arts to young artists, through my commissioned artwork, and as a freelance Graphic Artist and BG Artist for Animation. I strive to become a more accomplished artist, and am always on the hunt for my next creative project.
